Karnataka Rajyotsava, also known as Karnataka Formation Day, is celebrated with great pride and enthusiasm across the state every year on November 1st. This day commemorates the establishment of Karnataka as a unified state in 1956, when all Kannada-speaking regions were merged to form the state under the States Reorganization Act.
