India Gate is the best place for a night out in Delhi if you want to walk on a beautiful location with delicious street food. On Saturday evening, we (Vivek, Pulkit and Shashwat) decided to go India Gate. We took the metro from MG Road, Gurgaon and reached Central Secretariat around 7:30 PM. First, we decided to go towards President House and then India Gate.
The Tri-Color fountain near the North and South block were looking awesome. So, we first captured some photographs there and then moved ahead.
This was the first time for Shashwat to visit near President House. He was hesitating to go because of no tourist and night. But I said that this is a tourist spot, so there is no problem at all. Both north and south block were looking picturesque at night and we captured a lot of photographs.
After that, we went near President House and posed one by one for the photograph. Suddenly the camera's battery was exhausted. Actually, we could not charge it because of the random plan. Now we relied on the phone camera.
After one hour, we decided to go India Gate. India Gate looks very close from president house, but the actual distance is around 3.5KM from President House.
There was too much crowd because of weekend and India Gate is always a first choice for everyone in the night. Shashwat brought Papad, it is a famous street food at India Gate. We all enjoyed the taste of Papad and then Pulkit asked for Chuski. So, we went to Chuski shop and ordered three Khati-Meeti Chuski. There seemed no difference between us and little children when we were enjoying the taste of Chuski.
Around 9:00 PM, we decided to go Chandni Chowk for dinner. Pulkit suggested going "Kake ki Bhatti" for dinner. The food was really superb; after dinner, we also enjoyed the taste of Lassi and returned to Gurgaon by cab.
