I have just visited Lavasa and what a place! Was mesmerized by the weather; the rains were amazing. This place was looking superb in the rainy season because of lush green landscapes and beautiful lake. I have visited this place for two days and that was the wonderful experience.

The first day, I have stayed in 'Ekaant The Retreat'; location was perfect, scenic and peaceful!! The resort is an architectural marvel, very well designed and maintained property. The location is probably the best in Lavasa and every room has an excellent Lake view. Today, I have visited Warasgaon Lake and enjoyed food at Vyanjan restaurant; food was good.
Warasgaon Lake was beautiful and mesmerizing which enhance the beauty of this smart city. Sahyadris mountain range (also called The Western Ghats) was looking superb in monsoon.
The resort has a nature trail right next to the hotel reception, which is quite exceptional. So if you are staying there, then must take a stroll in the morning. We also went for nature trails and had a refreshed morning!
The second day, we stayed at hotel 'Waterfront Shaw' which was also the nice experience. Generally, people stay in the same hotel, but we had changed the hotel for a different view and location. Today, we have explored the city through eco-friendly Segway which was really worthwhile not only to me but also for the environment.
Segway is a rage globally and many international tourist destinations are offering the self-balancing mini-bicycle powered by a battery to tourists for personalized and unhindered exploration. So, tourists can now cover large distances with ease and discover the lush green trails and scenic pathways in Lavasa.
The walk on the beautiful promenade was so soothing; felt like I was visited Europe! We had taken lunch at American Dinner restaurant; food was lovely. We have also experienced the Hovercraft and Jet-o-Vator, what the fun (this was really the awesome experience).
The winding road en-route Lavasa was beautiful and the hill city was engulfed in fog. Driving was never such a fun, I was already feeling like celebrity!! Overall it was a lovely trip. Thanks Lavasa for such a wonderful and memorable experience.
